Colson Bade

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Coach Bade started his volleyball career at 11 years old at Richmond Volleyball Club, where he played for 6 years as an outside and libero. He then played volleyball at Deep Run High School where he won two Virginia State Championships. Coach Bade then attended James Madison University, where he played libero for JMU’s Men’s Club Volleyball Team.

After graduation, Coach Bade moved to Arlington, Virginia where he teaches social studies at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. During this time, he served as Coach Willem’s assistant coach at Annandale High School, where they led the Atoms to the 2nd place in the National District their first year.

Coach Bade focuses on developing players’ sense of independence and confidence in their abilities to ensure they continue to improve throughout their career.
