Bio

Andra is originally from the Chicagoland area and has lived in Northern Virginia for 12 years.  She started playing volleyball in 6th grade, and played competitive club throughout high school. Andra earned several varsity accolades before earning a Division I scholarship to Loyola University of Maryland. At Loyola University, she started as a middle hitter playing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.  She was selected for the U.S. Army Volleyball team until the team was disbanded after the September 11th attacks.  She played on championship teams at various Army bases including Korea, Hawaii, and Iraq.  She was also part of the Richmond Volleyball Club for a short time in 2006 and started coaching in 2021 as the American Volleyball Club 12U team head coach in Manassas, VA.

Andra has a great passion for the game and is wholeheartedly committed to helping athletes realize their greatest athletic potential while teaching a lifelong love of volleyball. She wants to mentor and coach players and help them to improve their technical form, capitalize on their competitive drive, increase their mental toughness, teach strategy techniques, and increase their overall volleyball IQ–all while having fun.  Volleyball has taught her discipline, teamwork, commitment, communication, and goal setting -life lessons and values she has successfully used and cultivated over her 21 year military career.

Currently, Andra is the freshmen volleyball coach at Robinson High School!
