Bio
Following high school, Angelica earned a scholarship to continue her athletic career in Division II volleyball while also competing in track and field. She joined the Lady Pioneers at Glenville State University in West Virginia, where she assumed a leadership role as Co-Captain during her sophomore season. Although her college career was unfortunately cut short due to injury, she remained a dedicated supporter of her team. Angelica completed her education, graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Before departing Glenville, Angelica volunteered as the assistant coach at Gilmer County High School, contributing to the team’s impressive third-place finish in the state tournament. Currently, she is part of the South Lakes Boys Volleyball coaching staff in the program’s first year. Previously, she worked with the 12U and 13U teams and is excited to return for her third season at St. James.
In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Angelica serves as a Case Manager in Washington, DC, while pursuing a master’s degree in social work. She is passionate about giving back to the community and is eager to inspire young athletes by sharing her love, passion, and knowledge of the game.
