Bio

Angelica Nichols is from Vancouver, WA where she first picked up a volleyball at the age of 9. Following her recreation play in grade school she played as a middle blocker for her local middle school and high school teams. Angelica played competitive club throughout high school at Fire VBC and Fusion. As well as played beach volleyball at Woks Up in Gresham, Oregon.

After High school Angelica earned a scholarship to not only continue playing Division II volleyball but to run track and field. Angelica joined the Lady Pioneers at Glenville State in West Virginia and stepped into the leadership role as Co-Captain her sophomore season. Although her college career was cut short due to injury she continued to support her team. Angelica continued on with her education graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Before leaving Glenville she volunteered at Gilmer County High School as their assistant coach and contributed to the teams 3rd place finish in the state tournament.

Angelica is currently a Case Manager in Washington, DC and is working towards a master’s degree in social work. Angelica loves giving back to the community and can’t wait to inspire young athletes by sharing her love, passion, and knowledge of the game. Angelica is excited to be joining the St. James team this season.
