Ashanti Day

Ashanti Day grew up in Winchester, Virginia and started playing volleyball in the 4th grade. She played as a Middle Blocker at the Blue Ridge Volleyball Club, Potomac Elite Volleyball Club, and on the James Wood High School varsity volleyball team for 4 years. She was recruited to play volleyball at Virginia State University and received a full scholarship. During her time at Virginia State, she showcased her versatility by playing as a Middle Blocker, Opposite, and Serving Specialist. 

Ashanti has continued to play volleyball in an Adult Sand league and wants to give back to the volleyball community by coaching.
