Ed Morris

Ed Morris started playing indoor and beach volleyball in the 1980’s for military and civilian teams in California and Florida. He was selected to play for the Pentagon volleyball team that played exhibition matches against international teams. Ed permanently relocated to the Washington D.C. area in the 1990’s where he continued to play competitive volleyball and achieved referee certification. He started coaching youth volleyball with his daughter’s team in 2021, continued to coach girls volleyball in 2023 and 2024 and coached boys volleyball in 2022.

Ed has served as a member of the Meridian Mustangs High School girls volleyball coaching staff since 2023 and was also lead counselor for the Mustang Volleyball Camp in summer of 2024. Ed believes players should establish proficiency with all volleyball skills to ensure maximum individual and team performance. Ed is married with two children and lives in Falls Church, VA.
