Jake Kaplan

This is Jake’s third year coaching at STJ. Last season, he led the 14 Navy team to a Top 20 finish in the Open division at AAU Nationals. He’s also previously assisted the Boy’s 17 Navy squad. Jake is also entering his second year as both the head coach at South Lakes High School in Reston, as well as the assistant coach at Marymount University (VA) in Arlington.

As a player, Jake competed for Vassar College (DIII) in Poughkeepsie, NY, making an NCAA tournament appearance in 2021. He then completed his Master’s Degrees overseas at Newcastle University (UK) while competing in both the BUCS Premier League and the English Super League. Additionally, Jake represented the United States in the Maccabiah Games in 2015 and 2022, medaling in both tournaments.
