Jo Mikolowski

From the shores of Annapolis, Maryland, Johanna Mikolowski’s love affair with volleyball began at the tender age of 12. Her initial recreational explorations quickly blossomed into a competitive passion, leading her to excel as a Libero and Outside Hitter during her high school years.

Seeking to elevate her game further, Johanna embarked on a collegiate adventure to the Philippines, where she continued to shine as a Libero and Defensive Specialist. Upon her return to the United States, she remained deeply committed to the sport, sharing her expertise as a youth volleyball coach. Her dedication to nurturing young talent and fostering their confidence in the game has been unwavering.

Beyond her athletic pursuits, Johanna has carved a successful career as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist in McLean, Virginia. A mother of three, her oldest child is now following in her footsteps, making a name for herself as a DS and Opposite on the high school volleyball circuit.

Johanna’s enthusiasm for volleyball is infectious, and her ability to inspire the next generation of players is truly remarkable. Through her coaching and mentorship, she imparts invaluable skills and knowledge, empowering young athletes to reach their full potential.
