Bio

Katrina is from Annapolis, MD, where she began playing rec volleyball at age 11. After two seasons of rec, she played competitive club volleyball for SRVC, then for BAVA during high school. She played all four years on her high school team and was captain her senior year. The Capital Gazette nominated her for the Second All-County Volleyball Team for her work as a defensive specialist.

While at the University of Maryland, Katrina continued to play intramural volleyball and obtained her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. After graduating in 2021, Katrina continued to play while studying for her Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and now works full-time as an Assistant Project Manager.

Katrina’s goal as a coach is to help young players learn how to recognize their mistakes and give them the tools they need to self-correct their game. Katrina is very excited to be joining the St. James team this season.
