Bio
Mac Fornili is a military child and has lived all over the globe, but has called Lorton, VA home for over ten years of her life. She began playing volleyball in elementary school and carried passion for the sport throughout several moves until settling down in the DMV area. Mac played all four years of highschool ball at Hayfield Secondary School earning several conference and regional honors. In addition, Mac had the opportunity to play competitive club volleyball at NVVA, Arlington Elite, and eventually spent her 17s and 18s club years with the St. James Volleyball Club when it was created. Mac was recruited to play D3 volleyball at Springfield College and graduated with her bachelors degree in 2024. Since graduating, Mac has become the Thomas Edison High School junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant coach.
Though this is her first year coaching club, Mac has been instructing at the St. James for the past 4 years and feels as though the program is a second home. Just as many of her coaches have done for her in the past, she’s eager to become a role model for players and aid in their development not only as skilled athletes, but as growing individuals
