Michael Collins

Coach Michael started his playing career in the DMV, playing for both NVVA and BRYC as an outside, right side, middle, and libero. He qualified for Nationals six years in a row while playing for BRYC and finished as high as 17th place. Coach Michael was then recruited to play DIII volleyball at Marymount University. During his junior year, he helped the team earn a program first NCAA Tournament birth playing as both Outside Hitter and Libero.

Michael is going into his third season as an assistant coach at the St. James after working with Boys 15 Navy last season. During the 2022-2023 season, he joined Boys 17 Navy to help them cap off an incredible year with a gold bracket finish at AAU Open Nationals where they finished 13th in the nation. Michael is also an outside hitter for Rockville Reign, a Tier 2 VLA Team under the DC Dynasty Umbrella.
