Michaila Sheedy

Michaila Sheedy is from Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Virginia after graduating from Notre Dame of Maryland University. As a career middle hitter and captain, Michaila participated and led her team to the Maryland state, high school championship for two consecutive years Michaila continued her volleyball journey to Notre Dame of Maryland University, starting all four years and leading her team, as captain, to two consecutive conference championships and NCAA DIII Tournaments. Michaila received MVP and university athletic recognitions for her performance and leadership during each season.

Michaila served as the lead coach for the Baltimore Elite Volleyball Club top 13’s team for three years.  Each tournament and practice, Michaila applies her lessons learned as a player to the teams she coaches. She values personal development, leadership opportunities, and teamwork when working with all her players.

In Michaila’s free time outside of work and volleyball, she enjoys bouldering with her friends, cooking all kinds of meals, and visiting one of the many museums in DC.
