Zarif Waez

Mir “Zarif” Waez is professionally a federal government employee who has over 20 years of Volleyball experience as his prime hobby. Zarif played in different positions for Pamir United and Maihan Volleyball teams in the US. He served as Volleyball Coach in the Education University of Afghanistan. Zarif conducts private Volleyball coaching via meetups. Zarif received multiple awards/medals for playing in different tournaments in the US and Afghanistan. He organized and led the Volleyball tournament for Afghan immigrants at the Fort Dix camp in New Jersey. The tournament included eight Volleyball teams from the US military and Afghan immigrants. Zarif has been coaching at the ST James since March 2022.
